In order to prevent the formation and subsequent breaking off of large agglomerations of dirt particles on the cover of a paper machine, at least one surface located opposite the paper web and pertaining to at least one part of the elements form ing a contact surface is provided, at least partially, with an average surface roughness of between 5 µm and 100 µm.

En vue d'empêcher la formation et l'enlèvement ultérieur de gros agglomérats de particules de salissures sur le couvercle d'une machine à papier, l'invention est caractérisée en ce qu'au moins la surface tournée vers la feuille continue de papier, et renfermant au moins une partie des éléments formant la surface de contact, présente au moins partiellement une rugosité moyenne en surface comprise entre 5 mu m et 100 mu m.
