A composite paper machine fabric substrate (10) of a base (12) and batt (14) formed from polyamide is reinforced by a polymer having a glass transition temperature(TG) of - 40 to 15°C that is dispersed at below the face side surface of the fabric substrate to mechanically bond to the substrate. The polymer isthermoplastic enabling an improvement in flexibility and overall wear while at the same time permitting porosity necessary for proper drying of paper.
La présente invention concerne un substrat (10) de tissu de machine à papier composite d'une base (12) et d'une motte (14) formée de polyamide renforcé par un polymère d'une température de transition vitreuse (TG) de - 40 à 15°C dispersée au-dessous de la surface latérale du substrat en tissu pour coller mécaniquement au substrat. L'isthermoplastique polymère permet d'améliorer la flexibilité et l'usure générale tout en permettant simultanément la porosité nécessaire au séchage adéquat du papier.
