The invention concerns a novel method for making paper based on sheet cellulose fibre, wherein a novel retention system comprising a suspension of bentonite and a cationic galatomannan is used to improve in particular the retention of the incorporated mineral fillers. The invention also concerns a method for making paper using a retention system which substantially improves draining.

L'invention concerne un nouveau procédé de fabrication de papier à base de fibre de cellulose sous forme de feuille, dans lequel un nouveau système de rétention comprenant une suspension de bentonite et un galactomannane cationique est utilisé pour améliorer notamment la rétention des charges minérales incorporées. La présente invention concerne aussi un procédé de fabrication du papier avec utilisation d'un système de rétention qui améliore sensiblement le drainage.
