The invention relates to a document with high forgery-proofness and to a method for producing it, wherein a security element has a first print of color ink that is interrupted by unprinted negative contours. Applied over the first print is a second print of metallic effect ink that has an uninterrupted print area and is translucent so that the negative contours in the first print are visually recognizable.

Ledit document comporte un élément de sécurité obtenu par une première surimpression (4) à l'aide d'une couleur chromatique, interrompue par des motifs négatifs non imprimés. Une seconde surimpression (6) présentant une couleur à effet métallique est appliquée sur la première. La seconde surimpression présente une surface d'impression ininterrompue et est transparente, si bien que les motifs négatifs de la première surimpression (4) peuvent encore être visuellement reconnus.
