The invention includes a treatment apparatus (10) for treating fibrous cellulosic raw material suitable for use in a paper making plant comprising extracting means for extracting contrary material from the raw material, crushing means for crushing the raw material to remove nodes therefrom and splitting means for splitting the crushed raw material lengthways. A co- rotating twin screw conveyor (12) is used to pulp the crushed material, the conveyor being divided up into a plurality of zones, means for inserting treatment materials into at least one zone and means for controlling the temperature and/or pressure of all of the zones. The black liquor effluent produced in the pulping process is treated in an apparatus (14) comprising an evaporator for concentrating the liquor to 30-70 % solids, a processing vessel for treating the concentrated liquor at a temperature of between 300-650 ~C, and a closed conveyor for transporting the concentrated liquor from the evaporator to the processing vessel in excess of 90 ~C. The invention also includes the method involved in using the above apparatus.
L'invention concerne un appareil de traitement (10) servant à traiter la matière première fibreuse cellulosique, lequel appareil est approprié pour être utilisée dans une usine à papier. Cet appareil de traitement comprend un dispositif d'extraction servant à extraire les impuretés contenues dans la matière première, un dispositif d'écrasement servant à écraser la matière première afin d'en supprimer les noeuds et un dispositif de fendage servant à fendre la matière première écrasée dans le sens de la longueur. L'invention concerne également un transporteur à hélices jumelles en co-rotation (12) permettant de réduire en pâte la matière écrasée, le transporteur étant divisé en une pluralité de zones. L'invention concerne en outre un dispositif servant à insérer les matières de traitement dans au moins une zone et un dispositif servant à réguler la température et/ou la pression de toutes les zones. La liqueur noire résiduaire produite pendant le processus de réduction en pâte est traitée dans un appareil (14) pourvu d'un évaporateur afin de concentrer la liqueur sous forme de solides à 30-70 %, un récipient de traitement servant à traiter la liqueur concentrée à une température comprise entre 300 et 650 ·C et un transporteur fermé servant à transporter la liqueur concentrée de l'évaporateur au récipient de traitement à une température dépassant 90 ·C. L'invention concerne enfin le procédé permettant d'utiliser ledit appareil.
