The invention relates to a supercalendered paper product comprising first cellu- losic fibres and a gypsum -fibre composite product as a filler pigment or coating pigment, wherein the gypsum in the gypsum -fibre composite product appears as crystals on the surface of the fibre, and wherein the gypsum crystals are obtained by contacting calcium sulphate hemihydrate and/ or calcium sulphate anhydrite and an aqueous second fibre suspension. The invention also relates to a process for producing a supercalendered paper product.

L'invention porte sur un produit de papier satiné, comprenant des premières fibres cellulosiques et un produit composite à fibres de gypse comme pigment de charge ou comme pigment de revêtement, le gypse dans le produit composite à fibres de gypse apparaissant sous la forme de cristaux sur la surface de la fibre, et les cristaux de gypse étant obtenus en faisant venir en contact du sulfate de calcium semi-hydraté et/ou du sulfate de calcium anhydre et une seconde suspension à fibres aqueuse. L'invention porte également sur un procédé pour produire un produit de papier satiné.
