A paper production process, characterized by the process step of providing to the paper at some point in the production process a compound of formula (I), in which the symbols have the meaning given in claim 1, reduces the tendency of the obtained paper products, particularly those made from high-yield pulps, to yellow on exposure to light. Also claimed are the paper additives used in that process and the paper produced by such a process.
L'invention a trait à un procédé de fabrication de papier caractérisé par le fait qu'à un moment donné du processus de fabrication on ajoute au papier un composé répondant à la formule (I), formule dans laquelle les symboles sont tels que définis dans la revendication 1. L'adjonction de ce composé réduit la tendance qu'ont les articles en papier obtenus, notamment ceux produits à partir de pâte à haut rendement, à jaunir lorsqu'ils sont exposés à la lumière. Cette invention concerne également les produits d'addition utilisés dans le cadre de ce procédé ainsi que le papier fabriqué grâce audit procédé.
