The present invention is directed to a receptacle for collection and disposal of fliers and other unwanted pieces of mail at a bank of mailboxes location. The receptacle includes a housing connected to a surface of the bank of mailboxes. The housing is provided with a slot or opening to enable fliers and other unwanted pieces of mail to pass therethrough. The housing includes a means for discharging the contents of the housing into a suitable recyclable paper collection bin.
