The cartridge is folded around the ribbon 27 connected to supply spool 5 and take-up spool 23 from a blank having top panel 1 joined to bottom panel 35 by separated front panels 61. An extension 69 from top panel 1 is folded into the cart- ridge to form an internal post 19. The cartridge is glued together.
