A papermakers fabric, and particularly a corrugator fabric, is disclosed wherein a flat-woven, multilayer structure is brought into endless form by jointing means (14) arranged obliquely to the running direction of the fabric and at the roller side thereof. The angular disposition of the seam is said to reduce noise levels, sheet marking and web breakage.

Cette invention concerne un tissu de papetier, et notamment un tissu pour onduleuse; il s'agit d'une structure tissée à plat et à couches multiples à qui l'on confère une forme infinie grâce à des jointements (14) disposés diagonalement à la direction du tissu et du côté du rouleau de celui-ci. La position angulaire de la couture est réputée réduire les niveaux de bruit, le marquage des feuilles et la casse des toiles.
