A novel (meth)acrylamide polymer capable of forming paper making chemicals which exhibit excellent paper-strengthening, drainage-improving, yield- improving, interlaminar strength enhancing, surface strength enhancing, sizing- improving effects in acid, neutral, or alkaline paper-making systems; a process for production thereof; and papers made by using the polymer and being excellent in burst strength, internal bond strength and other characteristics. The (meth)acrylamide polymer is characterized by being obtained by polymerizing (a) a monomer represented by the general formula (1) with (b) (meth)acrylamide and (c) an ionic monomer exclusive of the monomers represented by the general formula (1).
La présente invention concerne un nouveau polymère de (méth)acrylamide pouvant produire des produits chimiques de production de papier qui présentent de très bonnes propriétés de renforcement de papier, d'amélioration de drainage, d'amélioration de rendement, d'amélioration de résistance au clivage, d'amélioration de résistance à l'arrachage, d'amélioration de collage dans des systèmes de production de papier acides, neutres ou alcalins. La présente invention concerne également un procédé pour produire ce polymère, ainsi que des papiers produits par utilisation de ce polymère, qui présentent une très bonne résistance à l'éclatement, résistance interne et autres caractéristiques. Le polymère de (méth)acrylamide selon cette invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il est obtenu par polymérisation (a) d'un monomère représenté par la formule générale (1) avec (b) du (méth)acrylamide et (c) un monomère ionique différent des monomères représentés par la formule générale (1).
