A keratin fibre dyeing composition, in particular for human keratin fibres such as hair, including a medium suitable for use in dyeing and containing at least one oxidation dye precursor selected from 3-methyl para-aminophenol, 2-methyl para-aminophenol and 2-hydroxymethyl para-aminophenol, and acid addition salts thereof; at least one coupler selected from the 2-methyl 5-aminophenols of formula (I), wherein R is hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, beta -hydroxyethyl or gamma -hydroxypropyl, and acid addition salts thereof; and at least one ortho-aminophenol selected from ortho-aminophenol and 3-acetylamino 6-aminophenol or an acid addition salt thereof. A dyeing method using an oxidising agent for colour development is also disclosed.
L'invention concerne une composition tinctoriale pour fibres kératiniques, en particulier pour fibres kératiniques humaines telles que les cheveux, comprenant, dans un milieu approprié pour la teinture, au moins un précurseur de colorant d'oxydation de type para choisi dans le groupe constitué par le 3-méthyl para-aminophénol, le 2-méthyl para-aminophénol, le 2-hydroxyméthyl para-aminophénol et leurs sels d'addition avec un acide; au moins un coupleur choisi dans le groupe constitué par les 2- méthyl 5-aminophénols de formule (I): Image dans laquelle R désigne un atome d'hydrogène, un radical méthyle ou éthyle, ou un groupement .beta.- hydroxyéthyle ou .gamma.-hydroxypropyle, et leurs sels d'addition avec un acide; et au moins un précurseur de colorant d'oxydation additionnel choisi parmi l'ortho- aminophénol, le 3-acétylamino 6-aminophénol et leurs sels d'addition avec un acide. L'utilisation d'une telle composition lorsqu'elle est appliquée sur les cheveux en présence d'un agent oxydant, en milieu acide ou alcalin, permet d'obtenir des colorations aux nuances chaude s et cuivrées et présentant une bonne résistance à la lumière, aux lavages, aux intempéries, à la transpiration et aux différentes traitements que peuvent subir les cheveux.
