2088369 9203396 PCTABS00010 A process for isomerizing a paraffin having 4 to 10 carbon atoms comprises contacting the paraffin with a catalyst composition comprising a dehydrogenation/hydrogenation metal and a zeolite which exhibits the X-ray diffraction pattern of Table A of the specification. The contacting is preferably effected under conditions comprising a temperature 120 to 370 ·C (250 to 700 ·F), a pressure of 100 to 7000 kPa (atmospheric to 1000 psig), a weight hourly space velocity of 0.1 to 50 hr-1, and a hydrogen:feedstock molar ratio of 0:1 to 10:1.
