The processes and apparatus relate to paraffinic froth treatment, including adding paraffin to froth; separating into diluted bitumen and diluted tailings; separating the diluted tailings into solvent and tailings while providing conditioning in the solvent recovery apparatus to break up the paraffin- precipitated asphaltene flocks to encourage liberation of paraffinic solvent.
