ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A sequentially timed parallel light sensitive control system for swimming pool circulation pumps and hydrocarbon pool heaters. The system comprises a photoelectric switch that is connected in series to a pilot rated relay with an electrically isolated contact that, at sundown, interrupts the millivolt circuit control of a swimming pool heater at a predetermined period of time prior to a second photoelectric switch which is connected in parallel to the first photoelectric switch and which thereafter disables a horsepower rated relay for shutting off the pool circulation pump. At sunrise, this cycle is reversed, with the circulation pump starting at a predetermined period of time before the swimming pool heater.
