Parallel slide gate valve with a casing (13) having an inlet nozzle and an outlet nozzle (16, 18), and in which is located a slide (21) containing two closure plates (1, 2), said slide being movable transversely to the nozzles (16, 18) located on a common axis (24) between two oppositely-lying seat surfaces (14, 15), the two closure plates (1, 2) or their seat surfaces (25, 26), in the closed position of the slide (21), being in sealing contact, under the action of a pressure medium introducible between the two closure plates or seal surfaces, with the respectively associated seat surface (14, 15) of the casing (13). In the central area of the sides facing one another of the two closure plates (1, 2), reinforcing members (36....) operate.

L'invention concerne un robinet-vanne à sièges parallèles comportant un corps (13) qui possède un ajutage d'entrée et un ajutage de sortie (16, 18) et qui abrite un tiroir (21) contenant deux disques obturateurs (1,2). Ce tiroir (21) est mobile, entre deux surfaces de siège (14, 15) situées en regard l'une de l'autre, transversalement par rapport aux ajutages (16, 18) disposés sur un axe commun (24). Lorsque le tiroir (21) est en position fermée, les deux disques obturateurs (1,2) ou leurs surfaces d'étanchéité (25, 25) s'appuient hermétiquement contre la surface de siège (14, 15) respective du corps (13) sous l'effet d'un milieu de pression pouvant être introduit entre les deux disques obturateurs ou les surfaces d'étanchéité. Des raidisseurs (36...) agissent dans la région centrale des faces des deux disques obturateurs (1, 2) situées en regard l'une de l'autre.
