A parallelogram linkage camper stair includes first, second and third pairs of parallelogram stringers. The first pair of parallelogram stringers are parallel to each other and lie in a first plane. The second pair of parallelogram stringers are parallel to each other and lie in a second plane. The third pair of parallelogram stringers are parallel to each other and lie in a third plane. The first, second and third planes are parallel to each other. A parallel, spaced apart first array of rigid steps are pivotally mounted perpendicularly between the first and second pairs of parallelogram stringers. A parallel, spaced apart second array of rigid steps are pivotally mounted perpendicularly between the second and third pairs of parallelogram stringers. The first array of rigid steps are staggered relative to the second array of rigid steps.
