PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION : La présente invention concerne une composi- tion tinctoriale pour fibres kératiniques et en particulier pour cheveux humains, caractérisée par le fait qu'elle contient en solution au moins un composé de formule générale Image (I) formule dans laquelle R1 représente un radical ? CH2)n -OR, R étant un radical méthyl ou éthyl, n étant égal à 2 ou 3, ainsi que les sels d'acide correspondants, en association avec un adjuvant cosmétiquement acceptable. Ce composé présente d'une part une bonne innocuité à l'application en teinture pour cheveux et d'autre part, une bonne stabilité des nuances obtenues au cours du temps.
