A new group of parasiticidal pyrazoles of formula (I) wherein R2 is NH2, H, halogen, NH(C1-6alkyl optionally substituted with one or more halogen), NH(allyl optionally substituted with one or more halogen), NH(benzyl optionally substituted with one or more halogen), NHSCF3, or R2 is C1-6alkyl optionally substituted with one or more halogen; R3, R5 and R7 are each independently H, halogen, SF5, C1-6alkyl optionally substituted with one or more halogen, C1-6alkoxy optionally substituted with one or more halogen, or S(O)n(C1-6alkyl optionally substituted with one or more halogen) wherein n is 0, 1 or 2; X is O or NOY; Y is H or C1-6alkyl optionally substituted with one or more halogen; R8 is H, C1-8alkyl optionally substituted with one or more halogen, or C3-8cycloalkyl optionally substituted by one or more halogen, or by one or more C1-4 alkyl optionally substituted with one or more halogen, or by C3-8cycloalkylcarbonyl; and their pharmaceutically- or veterinarily- acceptable acid addition salts are described, together with processes thereto and uses thereof.
