A PARENTERAL DEVICE Abstract of the Disclosure The body of a parenteral device has a chamber with an opening in the wall of the chamber. A hollow needle having a first aperture at its outer end is slid- ably mounted to the body so as to be movable axially therein. The needle is associated with an opening whereby the needle can be moved to a first position and extending through the opening whereby its outer end extends beyond the body; and, a second position whereby the outer end of the needle is located innermost from the opening. A second aperture in the wall of the needle provides commun- ication between the chamber and the lumen of the needle when in the first position.
