Pocket knife comprising a hand-grip (2) of moulded synthetic material and a decorative element (1), for example, a cross, inlaid in the outer surface (21) of the hand-grip. The decorative element is fabricated by stamping out of sheet steel (15); it includes a cross (11) and a four-sided frame (10) positioned one in relation to the other with two attaching pieces (12, 13). The greater part of the attaching pieces (12, 13) is pushed below the curved plane occupied by the cross and frame (10, 11). This part is thereby covered by the said synthetic material (20). At least a portion (100, 110) of the sides of the decorative element is slanted so as to be also partially covered by synthetic material. Advantages: a single operation is required to inject the hand-grip (2) and inlay the element (1). Esthetics.

Couteau de poche comportant un côte (2) en matériau synthétique moulé et un élément décoratif (1), par exemple une croix, incrusté à fleur de lasurface externe (21) de la côte.
