The invention relates to a device for detecting a partial discharge in an electrical device under voltage, the device comprising detection means (Pc) mounted on the electrical device under voltage, in order to detect at least one partial discharge that occurs, characterized in that it comprises additional means (D1, D2, S)capable of determining whether the partial discharge that occurs is inside or outside the device under voltage. Application to the factory testing of power transformers.

L' invention concerne un dispositif de détection de décharge partielle de dispositif électrique sous tension, le dispositif comprenant des moyens de détection (Pc) montés sur le dispositif électrique sous tension pour détecter au moins une décharge partielle qui survient, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend des moyens supplémentaires (D1, D2, S) aptes à déterminer si la décharge partielle qui survient est intérieure ou extérieure au dispositif sous tension. Application aux essais des transformateurs de puissance en usine.
