An air-oxygen hydrogen sulphide burner (108) fires into a furnace (102). The burner comprises a main passage for combustion-supporting gas containing air (112), a multiplicity of spaced apart outer elongate fluid-conducting open ended tubes extending in parallel with each other along the main passage, each of the outlet tubes surrounding at least at the distal end of the burner a respective inner elongate fluid-conducting open ended tube, the inner tubes extending in parallel with one another, a first inlet to the burner for oxygen or oxygen-enriched air, and a second inlet to the burner for feed gas containing hydrogen sulphide, one of the first and second inlets communicating with the outer tubes, and the other of the first and second inlets communicating with the inner tubes.
L'invention concerne un brûleur permettant de réaliser la combustion de sulfure d'hydrogène et d'air-oxygène (108) dans un four (102). Le brûleur comprend un passage principal pour un gaz supportant la combustion contenant de l'air (112), plusieurs tubes allongés extérieurs à extrémité ouverte conduisant des fluides et espacés les uns des autres s'étendant de façon parallèle les uns par rapport aux autres le long du passage principal, chacun des tubes de sortie étant situés au moins autour de l'extrémité distale du brûleur un tube respectif allongé extérieur à extrémité ouverte conduisant des fluides, les tubes intérieurs s'étendant de façon parallèle les uns par rapport aux autres, une première entrée vers le brûleur destinée à l'oxygène ou à l'air enrichi en oxygène, et une deuxième entrée vers le brûleur destinée au gaz contenant du sulfure d'hydrogène, une des première et deuxième entrées communiquant avec les tubes extérieurs, et l'autre des première et deuxième entrées communiquant avec les tubes intérieurs.
