ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Particle boards are prepared from comminuted plastic scrap, alone or in admixture with wood and like cellulosic particles, using an or- ganic polyisocyanate binder. Composite panels are also disclosed in which the comminuted plastic scrap forms the inner layer and the outer layers are fabricated from cellulosic material. In a particular em- bodiment the plastic scrap material employed is derived from junked automobiles.
