ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus in which an auger, coupled to a hopper storing toner particles, dispenses toner particles substantially uniformly into a developer material. Fibers contact the moving toner particles to induce relative movement between the toner particles and auger in a direction substantially normal to the direction of translation thereof. The fibers also apply a force onthe toner particles which prevents particle clogging during the discharge thereof.
