The invention relates to a release agent which as releasing substances contains oils, waxes, silicons and/or soaps as well as emulsifiers and other usual additives in a carrier, which carrier is a mixture of at least one hydrocarbon and water and is present in the form of a water-in-oil dispersion. The invention also relates to the use of the release agent and to a method for producing same.
