A partition structure comprising a rectangular peripheral frame has two spaced apart generally vertical members and two spaced apart generally horizontal members. The horizontal frame members are connected to the vertical frame members at the corners thereof. A substantially rigid panel section is connected to and confers rigidity to the frame. The panel may be compressed within inwardly facing channels of frame members. Alternately portions of frame members may extend and be snugly fit into channel section edges of the panel, thereby eliminating the need for attachment means to secure the panel sections to the frame members. The provision of a partition structure having panels which provide rigidity to the frame structure, allows the use of a frame structure which is not particularly rigid itself.
