Described is a pharmaceutical composition containing (a) a parvovirus and (b) a chemotherapeutic agent, preferably as separate entities. The parvovirus might be based on parvovirus Hl, LuIII, Mouse minute virus (MMV), Mouse parvovirus (MPV), Rat minute virus (RMV), Rat parvovirus (RPV), Rat virus (RV), vectors based on the foregoing viral species, and/or cells capable of actively producing the foregoing viral species. The pharmaceutical composition is beneficial for the treatment of a tumor. Tumors for which a parvovirus or the adjunction of the invention has particular utility include glioma, medulloblastoma, meningioma and pancreatic cancer. Preferred chemotherapeutic agents are gemcitabine and Temozolodine.

La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique contenant (a) un parvovirus et (b) un agent chimiothérapeutique de préférence sous forme d'entités séparées. Le parvovirus peut être à base de parvovirus H1, Lu III, de virus minute de la souris (MMV), de parvovirus de la souris (MPV), de virus minute du rat (RMV), de parvovirus du rat (RPV), de virus de rat (RV), des vecteurs à base des espèces virales susmentionnées, et/ou des cellules capables d'une production active des espèces virales susmentionnées. La composition pharmaceutique est bénéfique au traitement d'une tumeur. Des tumeurs pour lesquelles un parvovirus ou de l'adjuvant selon l'invention est particulièrement utile comprennent le gliome, le médulloblastome, le méningiome, et le cancer pancréatique.
