In order to make use of disused chimneys within residences, a passive heat recovery and ventilation system is fitted within a chimney of a house, the system including inlet and outlet flow ducts fitted within the chimney flue, and extending to the chimney top, and a passive heat recovery device (2) located at the chimney top including a heat exchanger part (6) located in the chimney flue and having air inlet and air outlet ports (24, 26) communicating with the flow ducts, and including an air flow part (4) positioned on top of the chimney which replaces the chimney pot, and which exhausts stale air and draws in ambient air. The air flow part includes a turbine ventilator (18) for drawing out stale air, and a circular array of louvred air inlets (11, 12) for permitting inflow of fresh air.
Selon l'invention, afin d'utiliser des cheminées non utilisées à l'intérieur de résidences, un système de récupération de chaleur et de ventilation passif est adapté à l'intérieur d'une cheminée d'une maison, le système comprenant des conduits de circulation d'entrée et de sortie adaptés à l'intérieur du conduit de fumée de la cheminée, et s'étendant jusqu'à la partie supérieure de la cheminée, et un dispositif de récupération de chaleur passif (2) situé au niveau de la partie supérieure de la cheminée, comprenant un élément échangeur de chaleur (6) situé dans le conduit de fumée de la cheminée et ayant des orifices d'entrée d'air et de sortie d'air (24, 26) communiquant avec les conduits d'écoulement, et comprenant un élément de circulation d'air (4) positionné sur la cheminée, remplaçant la mitre de cheminée, qui décharge l'air vicié et aspire l'air ambiant. L'élément de circulation d'air comprend un ventilateur à turbine (18) pour aspirer l'air vicié de façon à le faire sortir, et un réseau circulaire d'entrées d'air à lames (11, 12) pour permettre l'entrée d'air frais.
