-1- Abstract: In a method of constructing patch pockets, adhesive is provided adjacent to the bottom and side edges of a patch pocket blank. Preferably, the adhesive is located on the obverse side so that inward folding of the edges orients said adhesive in the reverse direction. The folded patch pocket blank is positioned against a garment and the adhesive is activated to effect bonding. If desired, a stitch can be added along the edges of the adhesively secured pocket.
