A pathologic model animal highly accurately reflecting the pathologic conditions of non-alcoholic fatty hepatitis patients. There is provided a pathologic model animal for non-alcoholic fatty hepatitis, produced by continuously administering a tetracycline antibiotic to an animal having its body weight significantly increased over that of a group of normal diet intake by effecting intake of a high-fat diet.

La présente invention décrit un modèle animal de maladie qui imite de façon très précise les états pathologiques de patients atteints d'hépatite graisseuse non-alcoolique. La présente invention a également pour objet un modèle animal de maladie pour l~hépatite graisseuse non-alcoolique obtenu en administrant de façon constante un antibiotique du groupe des tétracyclines à un animal. Ledit animal possède une masse corporelle significativement plus importante que la masse corporelle moyenne des individus d~un groupe suivant un régime normal, du fait d~une alimentation riche en graisses.
