A patient interface (10) having a forehead support adjustably (34). The forehead support assembly includes a support arm (36) that is adjustably mounted to the mask shell (14), thereby allowing the adjustment of the distance between the forehead support bracket (40) and the mask shell in order to adjust for patient's of different sizes. A forehead support bracket is pivotally connected to the support arm. The pivoting forehead support bracket is self-aligning to allow the forehead pad to remain parallel to the patient's forehead at all times, thus enhancing comfort and stability. The forehead support bracket is removable from the support arm, allowing the headgear (with support bracket attached) to be donned separately from the mask and support arm. The forehead support bracket in one embodiment has a forehead pad formed from the headgear itself.
La présente invention concerne une interface patient (10) présentant un support frontal réglable (34). L'ensemble support frontal comprend un bras support (36) qui est monté réglable sur la coquille du masque (14), ce qui permet d'ajuster la distance entre le support frontal (40) et la coquille du masque de manière à l'ajuster à des patients de différentes tailles. Un support frontal est relié pivotant au bras support. Le support frontal pivotant est à réglage automatique afin de permettre au coussinet frontal de rester parallèle au front du patient à n'importe quel moment, améliorant ainsi le confort et la stabilité. Le support frontal est amovible par rapport au bras support, ce qui permet de porter le harnais (auquel le support est fixé) séparément du masque et du bras support. Selon un mode de réalisation, le support frontal présente un coussinet frontal constitué du harnais lui-même.
