A patient transfer system (20) including a patient support panel (22), a first base member (24) mounted on a first support structure (12), e.g., a gurney, and a second base member (26) mounted on a second support structure (14), e.g., a patient treatment table. The patient support panel has a pair of longitudinally extending side rails (22A). Each base member has at least one clamp arranged to engage a rail of the patient support panel to hold it in place thereon. The clamps are releasable to enable the patient support panel to be slid off of one base member and onto the other base member. If the support structures are spaced apart at least one bridging member (28A, 28B,28C) is provided to bridge the gap therebetween and allow the patient support member to be slid thereacross.
L'invention porte sur un système de transfert de patient (20) comprenant un panneau de support de patient (22), un premier élément de base (24) monté sur une première structure de support (12), par exemple un chariot-brancard, et un second élément de base (24) monté sur une seconde structure de support (14), par exemple une table de traitement de patient. Le panneau de support de patient comporte une paire de rails latéraux s'étendant longitudinalement (22A). Chaque élément de base comporte au moins une pince conçue pour venir en prise avec un rail du panneau de support de patient afin de le maintenir en place sur celui-ci. Les pinces sont libérables pour permettre au panneau de support de patient d'être retiré d'un élément de base et mis sur l'autre élément de base. Si les structures de support sont distantes, au moins un élément d'entretoisement (28A, 28B, 28C) est disposé afin d'entretoiser l'espace entre ceux-ci et permettre à l'élément de support de patient de coulisser dans celui-ci.
