PATTERNED RECEIVER FOR COLOR FILTER ARRAY Abstract A thermally-transferred color filter array element, preferably for use in a color electro-optical display device such as a color liquid crystal display device, comprising a support having thereon a polymeric dye image-receiving layer containing a thermally- transferred image comprising a repeating pattern of colorants, such as a mosaic pattern, the polymeric dye image-receiving layer having been applied to the support using screen printing.
