A pavement marker includes a base (12) and at least one lens (17, 18) with retroreflective areas aligned to reflect headlights back toward a vehicle for producing a nighttime signal. The lens and/or the base are formed from resins that include a fluorescent material. At least a portion of the lens is free of the retroreflective areas to that the fluorescent material of the lens and/or the base produces a daytime signal emitted from or through the lens.

Cette invention concerne un dispositif de marquage sur la chaussée comprenant une base (12) et au moins une lentille (16, 18) comportant des zones rétroréfléchissantes alignées de manière qu'elles réfléchissent des phares en direction d'un véhicule afin de produire un signal de nuit. La lentille et/ou la base sont formées à partir de résines qui comprennent un matériau fluorescent.
