7322 PAVING UNIT OF PAVING BLOCKS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A plurality of individual paving blocks are connected together to form a paving unit ready to be applied to a base surface for forming a paving surface. The paving blocks are molded of concrete or a similar material. The paving blocks are connected together by an adhesive material or by pressing the blocks together before they are completely set so that the material of the blocks affords the connection. The strength of the connection between the paving blocks is sufficient to permit the handling and setting of the paving unit while maintaining the paving blocks together. However, the strength of the connection is less than the strength of the material forming the paving blocks so that after the blocks have been set in place and a vibrating action is applied to the paving unit, the paving blocks will separate along the connecting surfaces without damaging the paving blocks.
