ABSTRACT A combination hammer and extraction tool employing an octagonal face, to allow a surface advantage when driving nails close to an adjacent obstacle. At the opposite end of the hammer head are three claws, the three claws combined herein after referred to as the paw. Between each claw is a groove, each tooled differently, one intended to allow the user to extract or begin to extract a nail, the head of which is close to, touching, or embedded in wood or similar material, by gripping the nail under the head; the other groove to allow the tight gripping of a nail or spike, not fully embedded, at any point between the nail head and material surface for the purpose of extraction. The surface of the hammer between the face and the paw being designed as a continuous arc, intended to allow ease of nail extraction in one easy rolling motion.
