A rod guide is provided for use in a rotating rod string (12) for powering a progressive cavity pump (14) for pumping downhole fluids through tubing (16) to the surface. The rod guide includes a rotor sleeve (20) secured to the rod string. The rotor sleeve includes a plurality of axially spaced reduced diameter body portions 22, and a plurality of axially spaced enlarged diameter ridge portions 24. Upper and lower stop surfaces 26, 28 on the ridge portions permit axial movement of the stator sleeve with respect to the rotor sleeve. A stator sleeve (40) positioned over the rotor sleeve, and has a sleeve body (42) with a generally circular configuration with opposing circumferential ends (44, 46) spreadable to position the stator sleeve about the rotor sleeve. A plu-rality of ribs (48) extend outward from the stator sleeve body.
L'invention porte sur un guide de tige destiné à être utilisé dans un train de tiges tournant (12) pour alimenter en énergie une pompe à cavité progressive (14) pour pomper des fluides de fond de trou à travers un tubage (16) jusqu'à la surface. Le guide de tige comprend un manchon rotor (20) fixé au train de tiges. Le manchon rotor comprend une pluralité de parties de corps à diamètre réduit axialement espacées (22), et une pluralité de parties d'arête de diamètre agrandi axialement espacées (24). Des surfaces d'arrêt supérieure et inférieure (26, 28) sur les parties d'arête permettent un mouvement axial du manchon stator par rapport au manchon rotor. Un manchon stator (40) est positionné sur le manchon rotor et comporte un corps de manchon (42) ayant une configuration globalement circulaire ayant des extrémités circonférentielles opposées (44, 46) aptes à s'écarter pour positionner le manchon stator autour du manchon rotor. Une pluralité de nervures (48) s'étendent vers l'extérieur à partir du corps de manchon stator.
