PEAK-TO-PEAK VALUE DETECTOR Abstract of the Disclosure The present invention relates to a peak detector for use in a stress wave detecting system or the like. The peak detector is comprised of a peak detecting section which is comprised on an input and an output to detect each peak in an input wave, with reference to a predetermined d.c. voltage. The peak detector is further comprised of a pulse stretching section for receiving the output from the peak detecting section to maintain the level of each detected peak with minimal decay. The output of the pulse stretching section is representative of the magnitude of the input wave to the peak detecting section.
