A device to control the flow of water from a faucet, by means of a foot pedal. The device is attached to the hot water and cold water supply lines of a faucet. The cold water side of the faucet is used in the conventional way. The premixed combined outlet of the device, is attached to the hot water side of the faucet. The hot water side of the faucet stays in the open position. The device converts any single handle, or double handle faucet to pedal operated, self- closing operation. It allows the flow of water from the hot water side of the faucet to be used at a pre-set temperature. The device is installed behind the door of a kitchen or bathroom cabinet, with the pedal hanging in the kickspace of the cabinet.
