The invention concerns a bicycle pedal (1) mounted at the end (3) of a pedal assembly crank arm (5), comprising a main body (7) whereon a cyclist's foot is supported while cycling, said pedal (1) being assembled, along a link axis X1, to the crank arm (5). The invention is characterized in that the pedal (1) comprises an intermediate pantograph device (11) for assembling the body (7) to the crank arm (5) producing both a variable offset of the foot purchase on said body (7) relative to the link axis X1 to increase the cycling torque, and to direct the body (7) in a plane defined during the rotation of the crank arm over one pedalling cycle. The invention also concerns bicycles equipped with this type of pedal (1).
La présente invention concerne une pédale (1) de cycle montée à l'extrémité (3) d'une manivelle (5) de pédalier, comprenant un corps (7) principal sur lequel appui un pied de cycliste au cours du pédalage, ladite pédale (1) étant assemblée, suivant un axe Xi de liaison, avec la manivelle (5), remarquable en ce que la pédale (1) comprend un dispositif intermédiaire pantographe (11) permettant d'assembler le corps (7) avec la manivelle (5) en créant à la fois un décalage variable du point d'appui du pied sur ledit corps (7) par rapport à l'axe Xi de liaison pour augmenter le couple de pédalage, et d'orienter ledit corps (7) dans un plan défini lors de la rotation de la manivelle sur un cycle de pédalage.
