A picture frame having a first frame member, a second frame member and at least one closure component. The closure component comprises a first closure member disposed on said first frame member that is operatively arranged to magnetically interact with a second closure member disposed on the second frame member. First and second closure members can be comprised of either ferromagnetic material or magnetic material. The closure enables the first frame member and second frame member to connect. At least one lens is attached to the second frame member. A closure guide comprising a recess and a raised boss disposed on either frame member can be implemented. Additionally, a vertical support is attached to the picture frame, at either the first frame member or the second frame member. A base is attached to the bottom of the vertical support.
