A camping tool (1) for harnmeringin or for extracting a tent peg from the ground, the tool (1) including: (a) a main body part (20) defining an internal passage (22) of non-circular cross-section; (b) a harnmer member (10) oriented substantially normal to the body (20) and located at a harnmer end of the body (20); and (c) a strike mernber (25) stationary relative to the body (20), wherein the strike face of the strike mernber (25) is located in the internal passage (22) at or near a strike end of the body (20) remote from the hammer end, the tool (1) optionally including a peg engaging member (30) including a captured portion (21a) unable to axially rotate in the passage (22) and operative to strike the strike member (25) in a low energy collision, whereby, by locating a peg engaging means (30) operatively connected to the captured portion (21a), grasping and pulling up the hammer member (10) to cause the captured portion (21a) to ram into the strike member (25), the peg may be dislodged.
L'invention concerne un outil de camping (1) utilisé pour planter ou pour arracher un piquet de tente a du sol. Cet outil (1) comprend: (a) une partie corps principale (20) comportant un passage interne (22) de coupe transversale non circulaire; (b) un élément marteau (10) orienté sensiblement perpendiculairement au corps (20) et situé sur une extrémité de frappe du corps (20); et (c) un élément de frappe (25) monté fixe par rapport au corps (20), la face de frappe de l'élément de frappe (25) se situant dans le passage interne (22), sur ou à proximité de l'extrémité de frappe du corps (20), à distance de l'extrémité de frappe. L'outil (1) comporte éventuellement un élément d'emboîtement de piquet (30) muni qu'une partie de préhension (21a) incapable de pivoter axialement dans le passage (22) et agissant de façon à frapper l'élément de frappe (25) avec un impact de faible énergie. Ainsi, pour déloger le piquet, le moyen d'emboîtement de piquet (30) est relié de manière fonctionnelle à la partie de préhension (21a), puis, l'élément marteau (10) est saisi et tiré pour amener la partie de préhension (21a) à s'enfoncer dans l'élément de frappe (25) et permettre l'extraction du piquet.
