ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Retainers having an opening adapted to be removably engaged on and around a pegboard hook and an integral projection adapted to be removably engaged in and restrained by a hole in a pegboard when the pegboard hook is supported by a hole in the pegboard, in order that such hook will remain in position, as long as is desired. The pegboard hook retainer is readily removable from the pegboard, and from the hook. The retainer may have various configura- tions in the portion adapted to receive a pegboard hook and in the projection adapted to be received in a pegboard.
