ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Anode slimes from an electrorefining operation are fed, together with sulfuric acid, into a heated pelletizer wherein a sulfation reaction occurs, simultaneously with pellet formation, to solubilize copper, nickel and tellurium contained in the slimes.
