A method of manufacturing a pellistor comprises providing a porous catalyst layer (11) on a heater by electrodepositing material from a mixture containing the catalyst and a structure-directing agent in an amount sufficient to form an homogenous lyotropic liquid crystalline phase in the mixture.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un pellistor, le procédé consistant à former une couche (11) catalysante poreuse sur un appareil de chauffage par électrodéposition d'une matière provenant d'un mélange contenant le catalyseur et un agent d'orientation de structure, en quantité suffisante pour former une phase cristalline liquide lyotropique homogène dans le mélange.
