The invention improves the flow of current within the cell by having the support for the catalyst at the anode made from an electrically good conductor in metal instead of the usual poorly conducting carbon powder.

L'invention permet d'améliorer le transport du courant à l'intérieur de la pile à combustible, grâce au fait que le support du catalyseur sur l'anode qui, jusqu'à présent, était constitué par de la poudre de carbone faiblement conductrice électroniquement, est remplacé par un métal électroniquement bon conducteur.
