The invention relates to a pencil-sharpener, especially for cosmetic soft- leaded pencils, comprising a conical-shaped sharpening channel (10) and a sharpener (12) which is arranged approximately at a tangent to the sharpening channel (10) and forms a relief angle (18) with the sharpening channel (10). In order to obtain an excellent cutting result or to prevent undesired rattling during the sharpening process, the sharpener (12) forms a relief angle (18, 18', 18") with the conical-shaped sharpening channel (10) which increases continuously in the direction of the front ends (20) of the sharpening channel (10).
