The invention provides a pendent rock breaking device (10) comprising: a boom (12) having means for mounting a rock breaking tool (14) thereto; support means (18) for hanging the boom directory from an overhead fixture over a rock breaking area (24) and pivot means (20) provided at or towards one end of the boom allowing the boom to be pivoted freely in use in any direction over the rock breaking area (24).
L'invention concerne un casse-pierres suspendu (10) contenant, d'une part, un bras (12) doté d'éléments permettant d'y fixer un instrument (14) de casse de pierres; d'autre part, un élément de support (18) permettant de suspendre le bras directement à partir d'un bâti supérieur au dessus d'une zone (24) de casse de pierres; et un élément pivot (20) situé au niveau, ou à proximité, d'une extrémité du bras, qui, au cours de l'utilisation, permet de faire pivoter le bras librement dans n'importe quel sens au dessus de la zone de casse de pierres.
