Compounds represented by the following general formula and salts thereof: Y-L- Tyr-Q-NR1-CH(R2)-CO-X, wherein R1 represents hydrogen or C1-6 alkyl; R2 represents optionally substituted benzyl; Q represents D- or L-Arg; Y represents two hydrogen atoms in the N-terminal amino group of L-Tyr or substituent(s) of the same, for example, C1-6 alkyl optionally having amino or carboxy; and X represents N-methyl-.beta.-alanine, etc. Because of having an analgetic effect, the compounds are usable in the treatment of cancer pain, etc.

On décrit des composés et leurs sels, représentés par la formule générale Y-L-Tyr-Q-NR?1¿-CH(R?2¿)-Co-X, où R?1¿ représente hydrogène ou C¿1-6? alkyle; R?2¿ représente benzyle éventuellement substitué; Q représente D- ou L-Arg; Y représente deux atomes d'hydrogène placés dans le groupe amino du terminal N de L-Tyr ou un ou plusieurs de leurs substituants, par exemple C¿1-6? alkyle éventuellement doté d'amino ou carboxy; et X représente N-méthyle-.beta.-alanine, etc. Grâce à leurs effets analgésiques, ces composés s'utilisent pour traiter les douleurs cancéreuses, etc.
